  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ¼ cup finely diced red onion
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 jalapeno, minced
  • ⅓ cup pecan halves, toasted and chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  1. Place avocados and lime juice in a bowl and roughly mash with a fork.
  2. Stir in onion, cilantro, jalapeno, pecans, salt and pepper.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
